RINGHOLD plays unorthodox & exp. blues from Estonia. Some call it melancholic, some say it's sort of a freaky danceable music.
eleOnora on vocals has been described as Jim Morrison channeling Meredith Monk. A machine gun? No problem!
Dadaist gibberish? Easy! Kalle Tikas on electric guitar has been titled as one of the leading guitar pickers in the Baltics.
Active since 2014, Ringhold has released two studio albums – debut album “Ringhold” in 2016 and “Hello Bob!” in 2018.
In August 2019 Ringhold released an album “Recorded Live” that features songs mainly recorded while on tour in various locations during 2018.

eleOnora wrote this lyrical theme of "Extinction Funk" already three years ago. We were planning to put this song on the album “Hello Bob!”, but the subject did not match so well with the rest of that album, so we decided to work on it with a future album in mind. At first the name of the song was 1.5°. The real name for this song manifested itself in spring 2019 as we finally started to find a musical shape to it – “Extinction Funk” was signalling in eleOnora’s head during each rehearsal, sO! now we have it.
As you can already assume, it is not an easy song in it’s meaning. Here is also a short video teaser introducing (just a few of) the protagonists of “Extinction Funk”.
