This is a remix of a track that was inspired by the many field recordings that I made in April 2019, whilst taking part in the Extinction Rebellion protests in London.

The uplifting main speech you hear was delivered by a man lying on the floor in Parliament Square, holding the road blocks, surrounded by police about to arrest him and defiantly, calmly, eloquently stating the compelling reasons for our actions that week.

Sticky By Proxy is a project by former DJ/Sound Recordist, Andy Green, using his own field recordings plus digital tom-foolery.

When not recording, he's in his studio shaping sound, oil painting, looking out at his garden where he sculpts recycled materials into more interesting stuff, wondering when this world will come to its senses and hoping that his efforts may help, in some small way.
